Winners announced
Prizes go out live on the trmi Discord, and sponsors meet the people who opted in to job outreach.
Times are US Central (CDT on Saturday, CST from Sunday). Everything happens online, on the trmi Discord.
Bring your people. Build in the room.
Share a little about your background, team, and what you want to make. The application takes about three minutes.
Questions and house rules.
The short version: be kind, build it this weekend, and ask us anything on Discord.
Be good to each other
No harassment, no heckling, no pile-ons, in voice, chat or code review. If someone's new, help them in.
Build it this weekend
Ideas and sketches are fine, but the code starts at kickoff. Open source, templates and AI agents are all allowed. Projects you'd already built aren't.
Say something
If something's wrong, message an organizer on Discord. We'll handle it quietly and quickly.
Does it cost anything?
No. Applying, building and trmi itself are all free. Bring a laptop and your own AI agent accounts.
Where does it happen?
Online, from anywhere. Kickoff, check-ins and the winner announcement all run on the trmi Discord.
Can I come without a team?
Yes. Choose "I'm looking to be paired" when you apply, and we'll match you with people before kickoff based on what you want to build.
When will I hear back about my application?
You'll get a confirmation email as soon as you apply, then a second email once we've reviewed it, before kickoff on Saturday.
What counts as "Multiplayer Everything"?
Anything people use together: games, shared tools, live apps, ways for a team to think or build in the same place. It's broad on purpose. If it brings people together, it fits.
Do we have to build in trmi?
Yes, you need to build on trmi. Your whole team shares one live room with one coding agent, you approve its changes together, and everything lands in your own git repo. Download it ↗
Which AI agents and models can we use?
Any of them. trmi runs Claude Code, Codex and open-weight models, so bring the accounts you already have.
What do we submit, and how is it judged?
A link to your repo and a short demo of it working, before 3 pm Central on Sunday. We'll share the full judging criteria at kickoff. Expect them to weigh how well it works, how original it is, and how multiplayer it really is.
Who owns what we build?
Your team does. The code lives in your repos, and nothing is locked into trmi.
What about the job opportunities?
Sponsors only contact people who said yes to that on their application. Saying no doesn't affect your application or your chances of winning.
What if I have more questions?
Join us on the trmi Discord ↗ and ask. Organizers are there all weekend, and before it too.
